Template change?

Attention, Authors!

Do you think that we should do a different template? I have access to free templates.

Signed,
P.S. I just added this part, but I was wondering--do you guys all want to be admins? Then we could just conference together about things like this, and the person who knows the most can change it. Tell me what you think!

  1. No, I like our current one. Also, {I don't mean to be mean or anything} I think we should limit the amount of authors The Story Club can have. Because:
    1. It's very hard {almost impossible} to change the header to add a new author's name
    2. We don't want to overwhelm the readers with too many stories at once.
    Just my thoughts. :)

    1. Great!! No, I think your advice is very good! How many authors do you think we should have? Fifteen? Or is that too many? I've had another person ask for authorship (though they haven't gotten back to me) so I can't really give that back. My friend, who was currently known as Unknown, said that they something wrong so we had to re-invite them and then they changed their name to Hadassah. I'm really sorry about the header!! :( Did you make it on Paint?

    2. Let's add them, and then maybe that should be our total. No, I made the header with picmonkey. Once you add the newest member, I can try to change the header to add the names. :)

    3. OK. Sounds good, Madeline! Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Oh, OK. Yeah, that would make sense. One of my siblings has used picmonkey before, and they have lots of cool stuff!! =D OK, well, the person hasn't actually asked to be an author yet. They asked me to email them more about the blog (so I was going to add a page about what this blog is about and the rules and such). But they haven't emailed back. So I could just say that we're no longer accepting authors. Or we could wait until the person replies. Thanks for working with me!

    4. I don't mind it, but I would be open to see what a new one would look like :)
The admin thing might work, I honestly don't know:) Whatever you like, Storyteller :)

    5. I was just wondering. I like our template, too! I was just hoping you guys liked it. :)
Yeah, I was thinking it just might be easier if we were all admins...... ;)

  2. OK-I just saw your part about everybody being admins. I think that would be okay, but we'd have to have rules like nobody can change somebody else's things. {I'm sure nobody would do that, anyhow} :)
    When I edit the header, I'd prefer if that was the last time I needed to edit it. So please, add anybody who needs/wants to be added now!!! :) {tell me when that's done, then I can change it. Once I've changed it I'll tell you, and then I can put it up {I will need to be a admin, though}}
    This is quite confusing! :)

    1. OK, so I'll add everybody as admins. I'll put out a rule page as to what the admins can do. First rule as of now: no changing anybody else's post. If there's something "bad", I myself will take it out. Nobody else can X anybody else off as an author, either. How does that sound so far?

    2. And Hadassah is going to be the last author, as far as I'm concerned.

    3. One thing about being admins-- when you added me {to make the header}, I noticed I could see everybody's emails. We should have a rule that NOBODY can give out anybody's email, unless with permission.
Should I change Hadassah's name on the header from Unknown to Hadassah? :)

    4. Hmm, that is a problem. On second thought, I don't think we should have everybody as an admin. If you have to do something, then I can add you for awhile and then take you off. And when you're an admin, you don't go onto the Settings page. I can take you off.
      Yeah, that'd probably be good!

P.S. Thanks for adding about the email thing. I totally forgot about that!

  3. Storyteller, I have another suggestion. I think we should make a calendar so that we don't get confused on who's supposed to post on which day. The only problem is that there are 8 of us authors and only seven days in a week, but maybe 2 people could post on one day? What do you think?
    Thanks, Jess

  5. Oh, one thing Storyteller--What about us all having our own tabs? We could post about ourselves there, so the reader gets to know us better. Sorta like having our own Wikipedia. ;)

    1. Sure. But if we did the admin thing, NOBODY IS ALLOWED ON SETTINGS. I don't want anybody's emails being given out.

    2. Wow, I'm really not sure I want to do this. I'm still kind of scared because of the email. Thing. So: I will make people admins when they've decided that they want to make their wiki pages (haha). After they do that, I click them off. If they would like to add something else (header, etc...) then I could add them again. Sorry, I'm just really sensitive about the email thing!!

  6. I totally understand. And I quite agree with you! When I change the header, I'll work on my 'wiki' page. Do we want to have a page explaining the wiki pages? :)
